Zinc catalysts (absorbents) for fine desulfurization of gases via zinc sulphide formation.

 

They are used in the production of ammonia, methanol, hydrogen, acetic acid and other processes, including catalytic treatment of natural gas and other hydrocarbons in the second stage of the desulfurization unit to absorb sulfur at operating temperatures 300 - 390 °C.
