The catalyst is used for steam reforming of natural gas and other light hydrocarbons in tubular as well as shaft furnaces of the ammonia, methanol and hydrogen plants and reducing&protective gas production units in metallurgy and metal working including ammonia dissociation.

The catalyst is the promoted nickel oxide on the strong and heat-resistant corundum support of optimized shape for highest reforming efficiency.

Special catalyst granules shape allows having low pressure drop, low tubes temperature, high catalyst efficiency and high unit production rate.

On the customer request, the catalyst of another shape may be produced: diameter 18.7 ± 0.3 mm, length 15.5 ± 0.5 mm, six peripheral channels (diameter 3.7 ± 0.2 mm) and central channel (diameter 4.2 ± 0.2 mm). Other properties are as in the table above.
