The low-temperature shift catalysts are used in the second stage (LTS) of CO shift at most of the modern ammonia and hydrogen plants using natural gas and other hydrocarbons, as well as in the cyclohexanol dehydrogenation stage at caprolactam plants.

The catalyst is used in the low-temperature shift process at ammonia and hydrogen plants in the temperature range 190 - 360 °C, at the pressures up to 3.0 MPa, steam to gas ratio range of 0.4 – 0.8, dry converted gas space velocities range of 2000 - 5000 h-1, inlet CO content (2,5 ± 1,5) vol %.
